Three theme parks to visit and enjoy in Tenerife

Loro Parque, a paradise to enjoy the exotic wildlife

Founded on December 17, 1972, Loro Parque was initially conceived as a paradise for parrots. It began its journey with only 25 people, 150 parrots and a space of 13,000 square meters. Since then and until today, and after a trajectory of many challenges, Loro Parque has become one of the most respected zoological institutions in the world, both for its beauty, the excellence of its facilities and the absolute respect for nature. Together with Loro Parque Fundación, Loro Parque currently has the largest and most diverse reserve of parrot species and subspecies in the world, making it the leading international breeding and management entity for psittacine parrots.

The park is located in Puerto de La Cruz, in the north of the island. It is a must-see and one of the most powerful magnets for tourists in the Canary Islands. Loro Parque has received almost 50 million visitors throughout its history. The excellence, the quality of its facilities, the love for detail and its environmental commitment have made it the best zoo in the world.

Siam Park, pure aquatic fun with an Asian twist

Siam Park is a water park located in Costa Adeje, in the south of Tenerife. It was named by TripAdvisor users as the best water park in the world between 2014 and 2021 and also belongs to the Loro Parque group. The park is themed on Thai architecture and holds several world records, such as the largest artificial wave in the world, 4 meters high.

The construction of Siam Park began in 2004 and each year it expands its facilities even more with new attractions. Siam Park is built with a Thai theme in all its attractions, buildings and restaurants and is the world's largest collection of such buildings outside its original country.

Forestal Park, an adventure among trees

Forestal Park is the largest tree adventure theme park in Tenerife. It is located in La Esperanza, at the gates of the Teide National Park, at an altitude of 1,400 meters, and in one of the most representative natural landscapes of Canary pine forest in the Canary Islands, the Protected Landscape of Las Lagunetas.

Cross suspension bridges, fly on zip lines over 200 meters long, climb up to 30 meters high in a Canary pine tree, jump on Tarzan's lianas and enjoy an unforgettable experience in the middle of nature.
