The beach of the Englishman

This beach is located to the east of the town, between San Agustin beach and the special Dunes Nature Reserve. As you approach the area of Las Dunas, it becomes wilder and the more naturalistic areas and other activities such as surfing begin to increase.

Special Natural Reserve of the Dunes of Maspalomas

This natural space has a uniqueness and characteristics that are not found anywhere else on the island. Although most of the flora and birds are protected, you can enjoy the impressive organic sand dunes, palm forests and a salt lake.

From the lighthouse of Maspalomas to the beach of El Inglés, this reserve offers a series of landscapes and natural formations worthy of admire. For some, this place has similarities to a desert, saving the distances since it has sea and it is also a commercial area.

Within this protected area, there is also one of the most special and fragile places, so access to it is strictly forbidden. This is the Pond, a unique and natural landscape full of exclusive species.

Maspalomas Botanical Park

A quiet and perfect place to walk, which has been dedicated to the conservation of more than 500 plant species. In its 12,000 meters of extension, these species are arranged without any order, making the visit and the landscape of the most striking and special. These species include fruit trees, aquatic, aromatic and medicinal plants.

It is also remarkable for the activities organized for the youngest, in relation to nature and focused on the knowledge of the flora and to try to raise awareness about the importance of its conservation.

At Atelier Cocktail Bar, they bet on local seasonal products, so they exalt the raw material through an original creation. In this way, the cocktail bar merges with the kitchen, and confectionery. In 2018, this terrace was included in the top of the best hotel bars in Europe.
