Description

Awarded a Michelin star, at Haydée the young Canarian Víctor Suárez, trained with great chefs such as Martín Berasategui or the Adriá brothers, runs the restaurant named after his grandmother. The setting is magical: surrounded by gardens, with the Teide as a witness and in the heart of the Orotava Valley. Suarez bets on dishes full of nuances and contrasts, where he proposes to the diner to venture on a journey to Asian cuisine. Among the starters are the tiradito of red shrimp from Huelva, ponzu and soy mayonnaise and fresh pasta ravioli stuffed with almogrote, watercress juice and truffle caviar. Among the main courses, the octopus risotto with olive tree or the charcoal-grilled sirloin steak, lentil stew, chard puree and marrow sauce. Among the desserts, try the Garajonay, a tribute to his grandmother.
